Name: Pavilion of Latin America (Chile, Dominican Rep, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, etc.)
Description: The massive pavilion was divided into several sections in order to embrace the exhibitions of the different countries. Here, the exhibition of Uruguay occupied the main hall and two large lateral rooms; the remaining space is dedicated to the other countries (Peru, Venezuela, Equator, Chile, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Bolivia and Cuba). The Pavilion was designed by Cav. Orsino Bonci, member of the General Committee of Latin America; it featured a central dome decorated with beautiful oval windows, and holding a symbolic globe. The square was, such as the other Pavilions of the right bank, roughly organized around a flowerbed. According to the CTI guide, large square pilasters raised up to the ceiling; the windows of the central and lateral wings had friezes, frames and garlands. The door was covered by the tympanum, with large glass windows above and decorative statues were located at the base and on top.
