Descriptive note:

The Medieval Village has been realized, with the connected Medieval Castle (the "Rocca") for the International Exposition of Turin in 1884, as center of the ancient section of the Fair. Since its realization and also during the Fair of 1911, the Medieval Village is the ideal setting for artisan shops (i.e., ceramists, weavers) in order to recreate the true medieval village's spirit.
